Easter Blooms – Black & White photo challenge, Day 4

I was invited by Diana and Jim from exploRVistas, full-time RVers, to take part in a five days black and white photo challenge. At the beginning, I was a bit skeptic, because I’m not used to do black and white pictures. I welcome all tips to help me improving myself ! I hope you will enjoy the result :-)

Today is Day 4 and since I haven’t posted any flower pictures this year… it was time for a change ! Yesterday was a beautiful day, so I wandered in the garden and took some pictures of the narcissus. I don’t know if narcissus and daffodils mean the same in English ? I, any case, I really love spring flowers :-)

This afternoon, I also plan to visit a special spring garden nearby and enjoy the flower displays. I can’t wait to take pictures of the tulips and other colourful flowers :-) But the weather does not look fabulous… fingers crossed ! I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend and didn’t eat too many chocolate eggs ;-)

As part of the challenge, we are supposed to invite another blogger each day to join in. It’s the hardest part of the challenge, I would love to invite each of you :-)

Today, since I’m talking about spring flowers, I would like to invite my dear friend Lucy from All Right Choices… I hope she won’t be too busy and will be able to join in :-) Most of you must known her since she has already been featured on this blog for a guest post about Romania. If you haven’t read it, I really recommend to have a look, the landscapes are fabulous :-)

There are only 2 rules to follow by accepting this challenge:

1.Post a different black and white photo of yours each day for five consecutive days.

2. Nominate a fellow blogger on each day to continue the challenge. See you tomorrow for the next post !

  1. These pics are beautiful which is fascinating considering that flowers are normally so full of bright colour. It’s such an interesting challenge and I too almost never take black and white pictures so perhaps I should challenge myself to do so one day!

    • Thank you ! I love when flowers are full of vibrant colours, but these black and white picture were also interesting.

  2. Though one my favourite things about flowers are the colours, I love this black and white picture. I wish I was as good as you taking pictures. Maybe I should start practising as well!
I am looking forward to see your last picture in this challenge tomorrow :)

    • Yeah… I have to admit that I prefer colour to monochrome when it comes to flowers ;-) But I agree, some pictures are really nice in black and white, it’s another atmosphere :-)

  3. Now, without all the yellow you can really see the structure of the daffodil flowers. Your black and white images bring poignancy to flowers normally thought of as cheerful. Beautiful.
