Valley Gardens, located in the heart of Harrogate, in Yorkshire, includes beautiful historic buildings, such as the sun pavilion and colonnades, as well as colourful flower beds.
I’ve posted a few pictures from this garden before. When my friend came over from Belgium two weeks ago (time is flying) we decided to visit this place. The sky was very moody at first but then it cleared out 🙂
It is located 15 minutes walk from the train station and is easily reachable on foot. You can have food over there, they sell sandwiches, or alternatively bring your own picnic and lay down on the grass. You can also walk from this garden, through the pinewoods and arrives at another garden, RHS Garden Harlow Carr. It’s quite a long but easy walk 🙂
At this garden centre, you can find a wonderful shop where you can buy flowers but also a lot of decoration items and little Bettie’s team room when you can have a delicious afternoon tea. At the opposite of Valley Garden, RHS Garden has an entrance fee and I didn’t visit it this time as it was already end of the day so I can’t tell you if it’s worth it or not ! But it looks really big !
